i new addition to the family . . .

well . . .we've thought about it.

baileigh has been begging.
caleb wants to be a big brother.
art's getting on up there in age.
and i'll be 30 in 2 years so it was time.

now or never . . .

we finally did it.

we decided to take that BIG step and add to our family.

i'd like to introduce . . .

our newest pride and joy . . . .

BUSTER . . . .

'belly buster ruggles' was added to our family on saturday, sept. 8th
he was born on july 27th and has one brother and one sister (caleb & baileigh)
he is a 'toy' rat terrier and will not get any more than 8 or 9 pounds.
so far he likes to sleep and chew on shoes and news paper.
the kiddos love him and can't wait till he is a little bigger so they can take turns sleeping with him . . .LOL
wish us luck on the potty training . . .
we must be CrAzY.

I what we did all summer !!!

i'm still alive . . .

yes, i'm still alive. i haven't fallin' off the blogging band wagon just yet. . . LOL

i have been busy though and i promise i HAVE been fighting just about everynight with pictures to make a slide show. so now here i am at 4:55 in the afternoon on a friday to let ya'll know i'm still here.

lets see . . . what i have i been up to? well first of all i changed my schedule at work. i now work mon-fri. this a is a real change, because for 6 years now i have worked only 3 days a week. but the good thing is that i get off at 3 and get to spend more time with the kiddos. spending more time with the kids means that i'm here for afterschool activities and HOMEWORK!!!

lets see: monday- new spelling words for caleb and an AR reading book
tuesday- AR reading and football practice (6-7:15) for caleb
for baileigh ballet and tap (3:50-5:00) then cheerleading (6-7:15)
wednesday- AR reading, math, and spelling words for caleb
thursday- study for spelling test and AR reading; football and cheerleading (6-7:15)
friday- high school football games
saturday- flag football

i think that i need a "S" for my shirt somedays. the good thing is that with the kiddos being so active in the afternoons bedtime is a breeze. :-)
